2 issues paused tv doesn't pause and daily have to force stop app on firestick
I have a 4k firestick with directv streaming. I have 2 issues and have Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. 1) Everytime we pause a show even for a couple of minutes when hit play, it goes to live TV and can't back up. 2) after some time and directv goes to sleep or whatever it does when no activity for a certain amount of time when we go back to bring up directv app, we have to either force stop the app or restart the firestick or it will just strob the bar on the channel and never load the channel. All other apps work fine do it isn't the internet. We have restarted router and modem and have same issue. I would go back to YouTube tv if they carried Ballys stations. Never had these weird issues with it.

I have already done all these steps several times and it continues to have same problem daily. My internet connection is working well and this is the only app experiencing issues. I have 400 M and typically only streaming 1 TV and using 1 pc for work. I called into support as well and it fixes issue when you restart firestick or force stop

I don't know about your second issue - I've never encountered that. But WRT the pause issue - last time I checked they still hadn't implemented pause support in the FireTV version of the app. No idea why - it seems to be in all the others and has been for some time.
