Watching DIRECTV STREAM

I was watching my recording of the NBA game tonight when the recording just ended after 2 1/2 hours. I went scrambling to try to find the live channel (because often the channel number isn't given, only the name of the channel) and almost missed the exciting ending to the game, cursing all the time.

I just tried streaming in Chrome and Edge on my PC and holy (Edited per community guidelines) is it horrible. It used to be crystal clear and now it's simply unwatchable - it can't even be 480p resolution. Streams look fine on my Rokus and on my phone, not the browser, which my son uses exclusively
