4k Live Sports Content
I now have all three 4k channels on my Gemini Box and on Roku. I am in Los Angeles so I am excited to watch the Dodgers in 4k, as well as football and other sporting events. Looking forward to this weekend, the dodgers have a 4 game home series from Thursday to Sunday. Their games are listed on the 4k channel on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. No Friday, however. During the Friday game time on my guide, there is a red sox game listed on both 105 and 106. Why are they choosing to show the red sox on both channels instead of having the dodgers on one of them? Isn't that the point of two live sports channels? I don't see the point of overlapping unless the Dodgers are unable to produce a 4k stream on Friday for some reason. Anyone know the reason for this?

Hello there! Thank you for taking the time to write us about this. We’re glad you’re enjoying our 4K programming at the best. We understand your concerns about the content selection, but please note that the broadcaster ultimately decides what is aired, and we lose control over that. Furthermore, we invite you to join us in a PM if you need any further assistance. DIRECTV is always willing to help! Cesar, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Hi DirecTv,
I understand that the broadcaster decides what is aired. It seems hard to believe that the broadcaster in this instance (the dodgers/spectrum sportsnet LA) is willing to give air the games on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday night, but not Friday. Can you confirm this is true?
