Watching & Streaming

WIthin the past couple of weeks, I have been experiencing an issue when fast forwarding. As a typical example, I am watcing a recorded show (OR a show that is currently recording) and I fast forward say 5 minutes. I will get the clocking icon - then eventually a message that says there was an error

We have 3 TVs ,2 are samsung that we play direct tv via the sets browser. We have ac3rd Sony that plays via Amazon firestick. I get continual network congestion throughout the night and last nihhtvat 1am on the 2 Samsungs but not on the Sony. Just to add i have att 1 gig internet.

There were a lot of games that weren't shown this year and most painful was the play in tourny. It was the last games to watch the Miami Heat and they weren't even shown.

DirectTV - please turn off the annoying popups added during the last application updates (Start from Beginning box and Press up for previous channels lower thirds) Both of these options are easily accessible from the menus and frankly not used very often anyway. One of the biggest downsides in moving from satellite to streaming is the 9 month expiration on dvr recordings. Is there anyway Directv stream can have a “video vault” that would protect say 50 hours of recordings ?
