Adding the Apple TV app to my DirectTv Stream service
I have the Apple TV App on my IPhone and PC laptop. The app does not give me the option to cast to my tv from my IPhone although it does from my laptop. However casting from my laptop has recently started resulting in an “unsyncing” between audio and video. I don’t have this issue (not being able to cast from my phone to tv) with any other streaming service. Apple support didn’t help. Can I possibly download the Apple TV app to my DirectTV system or cable box? Or do you have any other suggestions?

I was able to side load it. It crashes on the first startup then works flawlessly afterwards.
