Amazon Fire will not play DirectTV content
Subscription works on PC and Apple devices but cannot play content on Amazon Fire.
There is no option to play content.
customer service claims there’s an “outage” but it’s been over 3 weeks?!

I’ve checked Amazon settings and it’s set for the US. The channel guide is correct…it shows local channels. I’ve tried accessing live and on demand content but no difference. This is happening on every Amazon device (7/ea) all current within one year.
Online and Apple devices no problem.

Ok, but as of this afternoon DTV customer service said the “outage” was repaired last week?

@dbren23 check your subscription, access Home, Settings, Account to check for packages available - there might be something that FireTV is not updating at that level. This can help the reps to further check.

I didn't mean the time zone. Sometimes, when you go to the guide, the little tick mark (progress tick) isn't in the right place/time/show----and on the previous program that was on.

Curious as to what happened to this issue. Im having the same problem and tech support cannot fix it. Kept saying there is an 'outage'.

@Lenforonda check your subscription, access Home, Settings, Account to check for packages available - there might be something that FireTV is not updating at that level. This can help the reps to further check - The OP didn't confirm if the issue is resolved, but maybe you can perform the checks and see what might be going on.

@bryank27 Are you a new subscriber? Were you or are still a subscriber of DirecTV satellite or AT&T service? If so, are you using the same credentials on all the services?

Yes I am a new subscriber. I can watch on my phone through the app with no problems. No other DirecTV or ATT subscriptions

Well, this is the result when it happens. The system is confused. And yes it works on mobile devices lie a phone, table, or PC. Just with the streaming devices code on the devices. So, never had either subscriptions in the past?
