APP Constantly Buffers.

Whether direct wired to ATT FIBRE or Wifi with ATT FIBRE.  This app (Edited per community guidelines)! why do you not fix it?  It is not just me but everyone that I know that has the app!  How can this problem be corrected? Everything we have is ATT. Cell, Internet, and Television.  So its like they don't give a rats (Edited per community guidelines).

Frustrated beyond belief!

First, let's make sure to always have the latest software version of the DIRECTV STREAM App, that helps a lot to fix many issues.

I have updated the app. I have deleted and reloaded. I have restarted the television. I have done everything in my power to get through this, but my frustration is very high.

I will check everything again today.

Had similar problem problem, but I classified more as annoying than constant. did the same by doing the total reboot thing. After awhile the buffering lightened up where now it only happens occasionally. Suggest view for awhile to see what happens.

Had a similar issue last year. Was hard wired and was getting buffering issues. Found the problem to be issues with my router. My 5GHz signal was cutting in and out. Replaced the router and no more problems. May not be your problem but something you could check out.

Samsung - Class 7 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV.

I do not have the buffering issue with any other APP, from NETFLIX, PRIME, HBO Max, Disney+ and more.   Only app affected is this DirecTV app.  This has gone beyond annoying.  I looked, last updated on 3/22/22.   

If it proves to be an issue with Samsung TV's, why are other apps not affected?  

Doubt there is an answer or suitable fix. FRUSTRATED!

Dtv app is much more intricate than any other app on your tv. I got over using my Samsung Dtv stream app 8 months ago and got their stream box. I suggest you get over it too b/c the issue will never be resolved.

the samsung app has had these problems for a long time, if you search this forum you will find lots of references. Someone posted that an update fixed the problems but I have my doubts.

I will look at and analyze the best steps for me to take. BUT... I will say this.... NO OTHER APP I have does this on my Samsung TV.  People tell ME to get over it and buy this or change that. It would seem to me that we should EXPECT the DTV app to perform appropriately.  I mean it is what I pay for!

Maybe so but this apps does and has for a long time. If you would have done any researched you would know. So you can accept it or go with an external device or seek another service. This choice is yours.

I said in an earlier post that no other app is as intricate as the Dtv stream app. U can't compare a multi stream app like Dtv stream to another app like Netflix, etc. What part of that don't you understand????
