Apps have no sound with Directv stream device

I have the Directv Stream box going to my Denon receiver via hdmi. Using ethernet for internet. The normal channels work fine. If I open an app like Peacock I get no sound. The other day I turned the box off, back on and it worked. Today that's not even working. Any ideas?

Have you tried doing a red button reset to see if that would help this issue?

No I havent. Should I already have to do that in just 4 days of having it? Thats not a good sign if I have to hard reset then litterly log back in to every single app.

No, I want you to do a soft reset where you press the red button on the side of the box for 20-30 seconds and it will reboot itself no sign-in is required.  Hopefully, that will fix your issue.

OK did just that and it did a hard reset. Having to reinstall apps now.

Got everything back in. Sound works so far on apps. My box has restarted twice now though since doing the reset. Makes me wonder if I have a bad box. I'll see if it continues.
