Audo Syncing & Program Delays
Hi;
I have the Direct Stream app installed on two of my TVs, and many times I run into problems with the audio. It does not sync with the video coming in. Other times there are gaps in the audio and dialogue is missed. I connect to the internet via external Roku devices, as suggested here in the community forum.
Another issue I am experiencing happens when my wife and I are watching the same program at the same time on another one of my TVs. Once of them is delayed by a few seconds. This problem also happens when a friend watching the same program via cable receives the programming about 30 seconds or more (it happend while I was on the phone with someone watching a hockey game on cable tv recently).
Any ideas?

Of course. It's internet based and there will always be some delay between the deices due to loading the stream to be delivered to your device or devices. This is not a DirecTV Stream issue but a content delivery issue to the device. You will experience it on all internet based services. As for video sync, try restarting the device and try again.

What App(s)? The native TV DirecTV Stream apps never seem to work as well as stand-alone devices, like Roku, FireStick, or DirecTV Stream box.

Thanks very much. I am using the DirectStream app which is accessed via a new standalone Roku device on one TV, and a Roku Stick on another (per the recommendation of another user in this forum).
