Auto extend not working.

Outside of recording the next program, no. You have no control of the content. Auto extend is automatic.

Same issue for me as well.  I miss the end of all the Broncos and Avalanche games.  I called customer “service” and on call #1 was hung up on,  call #2, put on hold and hung up on, call #3 said it is the content provider’s fault….  They said this issue is “very rare “ and acted like it probably didn’t happen.   For reference I am using DirecTV stream on Apple TV.  

Same here.  It used to work fine.  DirecTV doesn't seem to care.  An agent abandoned a chat on me with no solution.  Time to shop for a different option.

Same issue as well. Missing 90% of all my games endings. They need to give the extended manual option back. Thinking of dropping Direct TV for this annoyance.

The streaming service has never had the ability to manually extend recordings. Best practice is to always record the show that follows your desired game. Don't rely on auto extend.
