Best Settings?
One of the few network cable show we watch is on CBS through the DirectTV Stream app on AppleTV 4K (2021.) We are viewing on a Samsung UN65AU8000BXZA. I have the ATV set to Match frame rate and content at 4K SDR. The picture is terrible! I played with settings a bit and found the picture became clearer by setting ATV to 1080p SDR (Playing back the recording of the episode.) This seems to be an even greater problem after installing HDMI 2.1 cables this past week.
So, I'm open to help about how to generally set the ATV for use with this setup and whether I need to manually change settings in order to see the best picture on some programming.
Thank you!

To improve your streaming experience, it is necessary to take into consideration that the TV's screen resolution controls how many dots or pixels make up the image you see. The more pixels, the better the picture quality or definition.
In order to stream or improve the quality picture of your device, it is required to use a compatible configuration and device. ( https://direc.tv/349MSmZ )
For Samsung TVs we suggest keeping the resolution at 1080p and SDR since the operating system is not fully compatible, or using an external streaming device.
By improving your Wi-Fi signal or Connect Ethernet-equipped devices you can make your DIRECTV STREAM experience ( https://direc.tv/3IRsTIG) better.
