Best streaming option.
Currently using a Shield to stream on a LG tv. It works. Miss being able to jump to a different channel like you can with traditional TV remote. Is there another streaming device that would do this? Not wanting to invest in a new TV or directv stream box. Casting looks awful. App is no help.

Dtv Stream box has a remote with numbers you can use for channel changing. Also has shortcut buttons to get to the guide, dvr list, record, previous channel--and a voice search button. The box also comes with google play store. U can get a refurbished Dtv stream box from Dtv for 49.99. Comes with a 1yr warranty. Box is only 7x7 inches

And to make it clear - at this point the DirecTV branded streamer is the only thing that supports direct access to channels by number.
