Blackout then buffer and language change
Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but my service no matter what station I’m on will
blackout for a moment and buffer then whatever I was watching in English will change to Spanish movies or live sports it’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced. What’s the fix for this ?

Samsung TV's dtv stream app has an update available. Go to the apps section on the tv menu and update it.

Mine is doing the same thing, been happening about a week or so.
Try to update TV software - states no updates available.
Go to update dtv stream app - states no updates available.

It’s been happening to me as well. No solution here besides having to restart the program by changing the channel and going back to the original channel.

Update the app in the apps section of your samsung tv.

I had to reset the box , red button on the side of the box ! Hold the button down until you see the prompts on the screen, then follow the instructions on the screen!

Regardless of what you're going to hear, your Samsung TV is not the problem.
You're experiencing what many of us are experiencing while waiting for a DirecTV update. In particular a Samsung app as well as a few other devices that are having other similar problems. What you're experiencing has been going on for 3 weeks already and with complaints mounting, I'm not sure why DirecTV hasn't responded in a positive manner.

I've had the same issue with my Samsung Tv, but not with the fireTV. I've tried rebooting the TV, rebooting the wireless router and deleting and reinstalling the app all these attempts didn't fix the problem. I'm getting extremely frustrated and can't get any satisfaction anywhere.

I’m experiencing all of the exact same issues, myself, despite all the suggested fixes. No updates available. In addition to the random Spanish and constant blackouts/buffering, my Tv will also suddenly zoom into an abnormal magnification, a narrator voice will suddenly start talking in the middle of a show, shows are not recording, channels go missing from my guide, daily error notifications: 30003-003, 50001-001, network congested buffering error, etc. This is only happening on my smart tv ((Samsun frame) and not on any other devices: iPads, phone, TVs using fire stick, and it is not happening with any other app used on my Smarttv (Prime, Netflix, Peacock, AppleTV). Has been an issue and only getting worse since service began in August. I am beyond frustrated and If they cannot resolve this for me, I’ll be switching to YouTube tv and cancelling my direct stream service.

Well the Samsung app has been inferior for years since conception with little to none improvement. Based on history I would not expect an acceptable app in the near future.

That's the one I have 3.23.29406 ---mine updated to that a few days ago and the glitches went away. That being said---Samsung tv has very little storage and huge apps like Dtv are just going to be clunky there is no way around it. I upgraded to a stream box 5 months ago and can't be happier. I only have the app installed on my Samsung tv just to have it there as a backup. A few days ago I side loaded the Dtv stream app on my Android tv box and that even works better than my Samsung tv.

I have all my apps installed on a solid state thumb drive. I keep the TV memory clean for firmware or Samsung updates.
