Buffering issues
Trying to watch the olympics and it keeps stopping and buffering. I see many people complaining of buffering issues.
Getting about 75 mbps. Reset router, reset tv and still buffering.
I guess directv stream was a bad idea.

I have a 50" Roku TV. Not seeing any major issues here. Clocking at 42mbps. Set is right beside router. Sounds more like congestion issues possibly more from the data stream to you. Could be anywhere along the path delivering the feed to you.

It is not my network. Congestion on a DSL line? That does not happen. How do you explain my speeds being that high in my actual device?

That number based on a speed test representats only a small packet being sent and returned from a location. Although the test in general is good to know in no way does that represent the path of the stream and the number of hops it may travel. Anywhere they may be some slow downs and yes even on DSL. Although many have voice concern about the buffering issue in the forums there are exponentially more users have successful experiences with the service. They just don't share it in the forum.

That is incorrect about dsl. It is not my network. The speed is 10 times the recommended speed.
That is the narrative, to blame the customer not the service.
there are numerous complaints on twitter and I am sure there are many who have issues who do not post here or on twitter.
