Buffering of downloaded program

I have a DSL internet connection with a maximum speed of 3Mb.  It usually runs at 2.6-2.7Mb.  I have no problem watching videos on Amazon Prime, Netflix, and HuLu being downloaded from these suppliers.  Any show that is part of the DirecTV download selection always buffers.

Is there anything that can be done other than recording and watching later to remove the buffering problem?  I can not increase my download speed due to my location.  I have had satellite internet at one time but the delay in getting a page was over 5 seconds. 

I am wondering if Dish has this same problem.

Directv Stream is more complex than Netflix, etc. Your slow internet speed is why you are having issues with Dtv Stream. For one device you need at least 8mb/sec. For two, 16---etc etc.
