Cannot access Paramount content after registering with DIRECTV Stream login
I have tried many times to access Paramount, entering the code, logging in through DIRECTV Stream access but I continue to get the 0033- The customer is not authorized for the content requested. My phone says the code has worked, but the tv shows this code. Still need help. I have already tried deleting the apps and reinstalling several times.

There is no other support community I’m aware of. Just this, and it hasn’t been helpful unfortunately.

Are you trying to access the Paramount Channel, or Parmount+? They're not the same thing. If your channel package includes the Paramount Channel, then you should be able to access via your DirecTV Stream credentials. But that's not going to work with Paramount+.

As far as I know, there is only one Paramount App. It provides access to content based on a video subscription that includes the Paramount Channel, and, if you sign up for Paramount+ and log in with those credentials, then you can see the Paramount+ content.
Most (and by that I mean nearly all) of the content available on the app is restricted to users who have purchased Paramount+.
UPDATE: I stand corrected that there are two apps. But please be sure to use the right application for the two separate services.

There is also a Paramount network app available in the google play store. Some people download the Paramount plus app and use their dtv stream credentials to log into that. Wrong. There are 2 separate apps.

Yes, through DIRECTV Stream I should have access to the Paramount channel. I also have Paramount + which is totally different.

I can use the Paramount app just fine using my dtv stream credentials. U should also be able to access their content thru dtv stream on demand under networks.

This is the closest thread I could find to match my question.
I have a DirecTV stream box (not the app). On the box, I have the Amazon Prime app. From within Amazon Prime, I have a subscription to Paramount Plus. However, it will not let me play Paramount Plus content. It says it needs a compatible device. Oddly all trailers (within Paramount Plus), play fine. So what is up with that?

Yah you can't access Paramount plus thru Amazon from certain devices. It is this way with Tivo's also. I used to have cable and it did the same thing. I access my Paramount plus with Amazon prime with my firestick. You can also do it with prime on a roku or standalone android tv box. Just the way it is. Has nothing to do with Dtv Stream it is a Amazon prime/channels thing.

It's just puzzling trying to figure out the logic behind this. I thought having the all of the apps on the DirecTV stream box would simplify things, but now I have to switch to a separate device for this one service.

It's an Amazon prime rule. Happens on tivo as well.
U can download the Paramount plus app on google play store on your Dtv stream box and use your amazon prime credentials. That's what I do. U can access/register it here:

I'm not sure it's a Prime rule. The banner says Paramount Plus can only be played on approved devices (or something to that affect). And why would Prime let it work on pretty much every other device? Just sounds like it is a Paramount Plus rule and not a Prime one.

Just download the paramount plus app on google play store on your Dtv stream box and follow the instructions I gave you. U want an all in one device there is the solution. U can use your prime credentials to login to the paramount plus stand alone app and you wont have to switch devices.
Go here,. You have to do this first.

Yes, i know there is a workaround. I am simply curios as to the (real) reason for it.
