Cannot dismiss starz sales screen
When I turn on the tv there is an advertisement for subscribing to starz. The dismiss button does not work and I’m blocked from watching tv. I can’t find a way around this screen. I do not want starz, I want this advert taken out if my way. It’s been five days if this nonsense. Please help.

The problem is back, this time with a Showtime ad. I am using the Directv Stream android tv box. Pulling the power plug clears the ad.

I’m having the exact same problem; ad shows up for movie service that direct TV sells. Trying to choose dismiss button on the screen doesn’t work; I push the remote that should select the dismiss choice, but nothing happens. It lights up, but nothing happens. Very frustrating. Unplugging power and restarting does reset and solve problem. Direct tv should do better. Their own ad prevents you from watching the program ing (in this case a football game)
