@DIRECTVhelp it seems to be an issue on firestick. I do not care about live tv fast forwarding. It’s only in recorded DVR recordings. There was a forward 15 seconds option when you tried to pause and have the option. No longer exists. Now it is jerky and mind numbingly painful. Stop asking questions that are clearly answered in the responses below.
Firestick Users - By trial and error, and luck, I found a solution:
While your recording is playing, use the "wheel" on your firestick remote. Press right to FF and left to rewind. Single press right is 30 seconds, multiple presses one after another adds another 30 seconds. Single press left is 15 seconds, and same thing for multiple presses. Seems odd that AT&T wasn't aware of this and pass it along.
Another user said with the fire stick remote if you use the circle button hitting to the right it will fast forward 30 seconds. To rewind hit the button to the left and it will rewind to 15 seconds. I tried it and it does in fact work!

I should point out that I don’t have a fire stick it’s a tv with Amazon fire capabilities but this method does work with the remote for the tv
