Can't pick provider
Bally sports app will not allow me to pick provider on tv app. It keeps giving me a sign in code. It works correctly on my phone.

I guess you also tried resetting your tv? Unplugging it for a couple of minutes usually does the trick---unless there is reset in the settings.

Then the provider box turns blue. This is what I get instead of the provider list

What device are you using? I just authenticated using the app on my Chromebook. Never asks for a code just sign-in to the provider page.
Are you using a Smart TV or what? App for what device?

The provider list is on the website listed on that screen (not on the Roku app) Use your laptop or phone's internet browser --go to ballysports.com/activate and the provider list is there. U don't choose the provider on the Roku app. Once u go to the website---put the code in and choose the provider there..and it will activate your Roku app.

My phone is signed in with the provider also. The app still does not work.
It does not bring up a provider list. That's my problem.

I have done this a number of times within the last 3 or 4 months so I am not new to this.

Also the directtvstream used to come up in the right corner of the app screen. It does not. It is on my 0hone however.

The Roku app does not bring up the provider list on your tv screen. U have to go to the website and activate it on your computer's web browser with the code on the Roku app screen. The provider list is there. Doesn't matter if your phone's app is signed in you have to also use the Roku app code and activate it separately.
The Bally's app on your phone has a built in browser you can choose your provider and provider log in-------the Roku tv app does not have that feature. That's why you have to use your computer to activate the Roku tv app. Your Roku app does not get activated with your phone's bally's app.

so, I just went to my laptop, signed in, picked a provider which is now in the top right corner as is on my phone.
I am signed in on my tv app. I go to watch a live stream and it says "connect to watch". I click on that and it tells me to go to the ballysports.com/activate and enter a code. OK so I went to my "laptop" and did this and it let me choose a provider on the laptop.
went back to tv and it said it was ok, so i clicked on the live stream and it worked.
I've been doing this from my phone the last few months, not my laptop....so it is now working from my laptop.
interesting.
i signed out of my laptop and the tv app and started the process AGAIN. I guess i need to be signed in first on my laptop...hummmm which i never used at all....
but thanks, I got something going. It wasn't a simple task like it has been, but Oh well
thanks

Ok, I'm trying to get the app on my Roku app to work. I have my phone and laptop. I tried to sign in on the app and here's what happened.

On my laptop it says invalid code within seconds of getting the tv code for connect to watch
It's also giving me an expired code on my phone.
By the way, I have my phone , laptop, and another tv signed in with directtvstream in the upper corner.
Are only allowed to have so many devices connected at once ?

Well logout of the devices and try again. Not sure what the stream limit for the app is.
