Can't record some programs

We are unable to record some of our favorite shows like Chicago Med, Fire and PD.  We keep getting the message "Whoops, the program has already been aired, and can't be recorded anymore", even though the program is still to be aired.

What devices are you using to stream? Have you tried recording on any other devices? Like a computer or tablet.  Is this happening only with these shows or other shows?

All we have is the box for Directv Streaming.  This allows us to record a number of shows but not others, something we can’t figure out why.

Are the shows on specific networks? If so, can other shows on that network be recorded?

Why can some networks be recorded and not others?  It seems unreasonable that some shows could be watched yet not recorded.

We can tape news programs on NBC but can't tape Chicago Med, Fire and PD programs, which are also on NBC

Just the NBC channel is the issue? No other channels?

A lot of subscribers have reported that they are receiving that message. I don't recall a solution. You might try searching the forum for any confirmation.

I guess AT&T or Directv has no resources to help customers in this situation

AT&T has nothing to do with the service. DirecTV is totally different company from AT&T. The 2 split into separate companies almost 2 years ago. I suggest you contact DirecTV support directly with your issue. You can call them, chat with a rep, or use Facebook, Twitter, or Reddit.

Hi Duvan,

you posted four hours ago that, as a Directv community specialist, you will be sending me a DM to gather more details about our inability to record a number of programs, and get our problem solved asap.  So far I still haven’t received a DM.
