Care Code: 201

Do you have a Dtv satellite account or Dtv stream? Care codes are associated with satellite accounts. This is the Dtv stream forum.

I have a Stream account.  I have the same issue, but only on the app on a Firestick.  Have two Firesticks and both exhibit the same behavior.  I can login to the account online and the app on my Android phone.  Works on Apple products too.

Not sure what to do.  A few failed tries and have to reset the account again.  Very frustrating.

Yes.  Same behavior.  

Note - I do have a Directv Now account that was migrated to Stream.  Shouldn't matter per se.  If that were the issue I think I'd see it fail everywhere. 

Agree. If you can login to your account with those credentials and also with your phone and Apple devices then they are correct. Can only offer that you contact support now and discuss with a support rep.

Have you ever had Dtv Satellite? U might also do a forgot password on the website and try a new password / user id combo

I have the Direct TV & Streaming. I have 1 box that was provided to me by AT&T, that is in my livingroom that does not work. I have a Roku box in my bedroom that does work. All I did was download the DirectTV & streaming app on my Roku, then I logged-in to the Roku app with no problems. When I try to login to the box provided by AT&T I get either a 201 error code or a 204 error code. My son & I both worked with a female tech support person for almost 3 hours on Tues 11/16/2021 on my AT&T Android cell phone. We went over login names & passwords over & over & over. She finally decided it was the device was bad  & sent us a new one via UPS, which arrived today. He set the box up according to the instructions and we ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS we were having with the new box as we were with the old one! I am close to losing it(lol)!

Do I just need to get a Tech Service agent out to my house or what?!? Signed: HELP

So you pay for both Dtv satellite and Dtv Stream? I've seen people have login issues when they use the same email user id and password for both satellite and stream. If you can try changing your email on the stream account and see what happens.

@SandyM531 Did you download the DirecTV or DirecTV Stream app? Care codes reflects DirecTV errors not DirecTV Stream. Also what device are you using?

I don't understand the comment about care codes not being part of Stream.  I posted a pic showing Stream app and a 201 care code, right?  Is that something other than a care code in the pic?

No.  I just see the 201 at the end of the message.  Don't have a pick from the other app to compare with to be honest.  

Just trying to figure this out since now I seem to have issues using my Directv Stream login for federated identity too.  I used to use it in the SyFy app just fine, but now it's not working.

Huh" If you have the Stream app quit saying DirecTV. You are making this very confusing. DirecTV and DirecTV Stream are 2 different services with different login credentials. They are not cross platform acceptable.
