Clock is not correct on DIRECTV stream app
I’m using an Amazon fire stick and the clock is 3 hours behind on our DIRECTV stream app. What’s strange is on another tv in the house we are using a fire stick and the clock is fine. Is there a way to reset the clock to the current time? The guide is off as it is referencing the wrong time.

Is your firestick set to the correct time zone?

I have the same problem. For some reason it appears that Amazon fire stick time is now incorrect. It is set for Central Standard Time and always has been, but the clock time is now an hour behind. Possibly some daylight savings or software glitch. I had to change it to Eastern Standard Time to get the clock right and now my Guide is correct again. I will probably need to change it all back when the glitch resolves.

Try reinstalling the app.

Doesn't your firestick have an "auto" option with time.

The guide programming is based on the Eastern Time Zone with the exception to local channels and regional sports channels. So if you are on the West Coast your local programming should be correct but national programming will be based on the Eastern Time Zone (3 hour difference for Pacific, 2 hour difference for Mountain, and 1 hour difference for Central Time Zones).

All - Thanks for the feedback. It’s not a fire stick issue as all other apps show times that are accurate. Have tried clearing data/cache as well as uninstalling/reinstalling the app. Seems to just be an issue with DIRECTV stream. I am also on the East coast and everything was fine for 15 months until the time changed over night on Sunday. Just have not been able to figure out how to change it, and as mentioned it’s not an issue on our other TVs using fire stick.

OK solved it. It was definitely the Firestick for me as the timezone was selected correctly, but the firestick was displaying the incorrect time.
Go to Amazon Home > Settings > Preferences > Timezone
Once you select a Timezone it will show you the time. If the time is incorrect, go to Amazon Home > Settings > My Fire TV and then restart the device.
