Closed captions
I just called Directv about this, and they didn't have an answer. What is ON REPLAY when you look at the CC choices? If you click it, you don't get CC.

Hi @stattad. On replay, Closed Captioning displays only during the replay to catch missed dialogue. You can choose On always to show closed captioning when available.

Thanks. Also, the lady said that CC works independently on each TV, but whenever I turn them on, my wife has them on her TV (she hates them). Can you verify that they work independently?

That's right. Closed captioning must be activated on each device. If your wife prefers not to use this feature, you can easily disable it. Visit Manage DIRECTV closed captioning | DIRECTV Support to learn more. Arlyn, DIRECTV Community Specialist

You will need separate profiles. If you are using a Gemini Air or Gemini box (Osprey) if you enable CC on one device --they will enable on every device on the same profile.

@stattad,
When profiles were added, turning on CC on one box on that profile will turn it on all boxes on that profile too. You need to create a profile for yourself and another one for your wife.
