Cloud DVR Space limit

I understand all new DTV Stream customers receive unlimited DVR space.  As an existing customer, what can I do to receive unlimited DVR w/o paying an additional $10/month?

I wish.  I just called DTVStream Support (5/25 @ 9:45amET) and was told the following - including a conversation with a Supervisor.  So not sure what sources The Streamable talked to at DTVStream but this information is not consistent with what their Customer Service team is saying:

New customers get unlimited DVR for the first two months and will then be charged an additional $10/month.  Existing customers need to pay an additional $10/month for the unlimited DVR service.  

I also just emailed the author of the above article from The Streamable to see if he can confirm that information as it is not consistent with either the current DTV Stream website nor their sales or support agents.

There is nothing about a two month limit, in their ads. Just says free with every on line order, for new customers.

To Alejandro w/DTV above - I can see no ability to access DirecTV Message Inbox - I have no chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right hand corner - I only have my account icon next to the bell icon in the upper right hand corner.  And when I used a chat window on the DTV site earlier today it was a Sales Agent who only directed me to the phone line for Customer Service - who told me what I posted above.

That upgrade for existing customers is for "select customers"  Dtv help also posted about it on the reddit forum and said select customers would get an email first. I took a screenshot of it and spoke to their twitter support--- and they gave me free unlimited dvr for 1 year.

Thanks Ludwick577 - I've attempted the same but with no luck so far.  And no luck finding anyone at DTVStream who will acknowledge the information about them contacting any existing customers with unlimited DVR offers other than the $10/month deal.

@randerto Screenshot their reply in this Dtv stream reddit and contact them on twitter support. Send them the screenshot--and ask when you are going to get the free unlimited dvr offer. That's what worked for me.

After many hours of back/forth, I was able to find a rep who was able/willing to add unlimited DVR to my Ultimate package plan for 12 months.  At that time, the additional $10/month will kick-in if I take no action.  So not exactly what the above article indicates but progress for a period of time at least.  I still have to wait/see how this turns out though as I was then sent an email from their automated billing system saying my new monthly bill will be $99 instead of $89.  The rep tells me the $10/month discount will show up starting on my next bill.  Will believe that when I see it...
