C-SPAN sending 4:3 format stretched to 16:9

Selecting the wrong stream (4:3) for the C-SPAN feed. Other channels display normally (so let's not go down the user-error) path!

Are you choosing the right C-Span feed? There is an SD feed that comes from satellite 101 and the HD feed which comes from satellite 99 (HD satellite). Also, what is the receiver model? When did this issue start, and does it occur on other receivers if you have more than one? It is also worth it to try a red button reset (side by the access card for HR54 series or front where it says ‘PUSH’)

@JoeBios01

you posted in the DIRECTV satellite forum. I’m moving this to the dedicated DIRECTV STREAM side.

Well, no one here is going to fix it. This is just a public forum. DirecTV Stream only broadcasts from the broadcaster supplies them. Voice your concern to a support rep.

@bcbsncjlj Streams are generally delivered multiplex containing multiple formats. You need to select the correct PIDs to get the desired format.

You are getting the only stream supplied to the service. There are no multi formats via streaming unless an alternate channel is provided. It's not like cable.
