direct stream app with Firestick or Ruku tv will only give me a 0018 error when logging in.

Hi, I have direct TV and I was going to cancel the subscription, But I got talked into giving up my two extra receivers. And the use Direct stream app instead.

I downloaded the Direct stream app and installed it on my firestick no problem. But when I went to sign in, it would go all the way to the end "allow mes to put in my credentials for direct TV. then it gives the 0018 error code saying that "his app is designed for the Directv Stream service.  Your Directv service includes the best of live and on-demand available through the Directv app for satellite tv service.  Available on the Apple App Store and Google Play for phones, tablets as well as web browser. Code 0018".

I hit ok and and it takes me right back to the sign in page.

I then downloaded it on my Samsung S9 phone and signed in with the same credentials and it worked perfectly.

I tried it on my Ruku TV and got the same 0018 error as the firestick.

I tried putting the incorrect login credentials in, thinking maybe I am putting the wrong password in, and it came back wrong id or password, So I know the login credentials are correct.

I gave up my 2 receivers so I can't get any direct TV broadcast now non those two tv's

I tried to call and explain, and they just wanted to keep changing the password and trying again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
