Direct TV Channels will not load

For the last couple of weeks channels will not load in Direct TV Stream.  I use the app on a Amazon Fire Cube and Fire TV.  For example, I will try to watch MSNBC and it won't load and then I go to another channel and it will be fine.  Until recently, this has never happened.  I have unplugged the devices and this seems to help, but then it will start happening again. There are no other problems with other apps on the devices.

Thanks for trying to unplug and plug the devices. Please confirm what channels are reflecting this problem and also if it's happening with other devices, we want to collect all the information possible to get a fix.

Meanwhile, we can try some steps to Fix Amazon Fire streaming issues.

We'll help get to the bottom of this.

Same thing has been happening to me. When I uninstall and reinstall direct tv stream everything is working again.  I've had to do this every few days or so. It's very annoying.

I am having the same problem with my Firestick 4K, which requires restarting the Firestick several times a day now after starting with having to restart a few times a week.   I lose the ability to load all non-local channels although the Tennis channel also continues to be okay.  After restarting the Firestick, all works normal until it happens again, sometimes even without having turned off the TV.

Selecting "Fix Amazon Fire Streaming Issues" in the DirecTV Specialist's post above gets me nothing but a failure to load the page.  As stated above, this is very annoying and CANNOT CONTINUE.  Please help.

My issue seems to have been fixed, without me doing anything. I use an Amazon Cube in the living room and an Amazon Firestick in the bedroom.  I was having trouble on both. For the last few days I have not experienced the problem.

Have you had an update for FireTV or the DirecTV app?  Or did anything else change?  Yesterday and today is the worst I have experienced.

I did finally get the DirecTV Specialist's link to FireTV to work but so far have found nothing there that helps.  Another case of it's someone else's problem?

Okay, it's still an issue for me.  Tried reinstalling the app, set preferences to "allow" DirecTV to know my location, clear data, clear cache, etc. but nothing eliminates the problem.


NEED HELP?
