Direct TV Now Stream sound issues

When I’m watching DIRECTV streaming app the sound goes out intermittently and I have to switch channels and go back to the channel I was watching for it to come back. And also intermittently goes out and then comes back in Spanish and I have to do the same thing to get it to come back. Any other app I use Amazon, Hulu, Netflix all works fine without these problems does anybody have a solution?

Wondering why people don't search the forums before they post. There are a ton of posts about the Samsung tv app.

A new Thread every now and then helps. It also saves many users from reading multiple pages of nonsense in some cases.

DirecTV has been having problems with Samsung for almost a month now, Issues vary but there are rnonth to keep a Forum healthy.

The current rumor is Samsung is waiting on a licensing agreement from DirecTV Stream. However, It is now admittedly a DirecTV problem that is causing the problems.

TV manufacturers, like Samsung, have little incentive to keep their Apps up-to-date when they're competing against superior streaming devices like Roku and Fire. I fear that folks that are waiting for Samsung/DirecTV to fix these issues on the Samsung TV App will be waiting a long time.
