Direct TV Stream App Buffering Issues
I have Direct TV Stream App as we cut the cord on cable. Tried YouTube TV but didn't like the user interface. We do like the user interface for Direct TV Stream. We use Roku sticks on three TV's in the home. We have no buffering issues with any other apps we use (HBOMax, Disney+, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video) but we do when watching Direct TV Stream. We have buffering issues and quality of the image/stream fades out (becomes low quality or grainy) periodically. I've done a speed test when this is happening and I'm still close to 100MB speeds. Is this suspect quality to be expected with Direct TV Stream?

All those ote apps are On-Demand services not live services. the data delivery is totally different.Try restarting your environment - modem and router.

Sounds like you could have an issue with your Internet. Even though you have 100mbps at your router doesn't mean you have it by the time it reaches your Roku devices. Your wifi signal drops every time it passes through a wall, door or floor. Plus the further away you get from the router the weaker your signal is. As others have stated DirecTV Stream is live TV and many of the other services you refer to are On Demand. Live requires more bandwidth.
You might try loading a signal strength test app, like Analiti, into your Roku sticks and test the strength of the signal on each device.
Another thing to take into consideration is that not all routers are the same. Some of the less expensive ones do not have the coverage area that more expensive ones do.
If it is low you may need to add a wifi extender in the areas that are weak.
