Direct TV Stream getting wrong local broadcast channels.
Several times during the past 5 weeks, when the TV is turned on South Florida broadcast channels are received instead of Kansas City broadcast channels. Called ATT Direct Stream Customer Service and they have instructed me how to go into settings and get local (Kansas City) channels back. BUT the system will not stay that way. By removing power from the "set top box" and restarting it local (Kansas City) channels will come back. But the system will not stay that way. Customer service sent a new "set top box" ---- same results. These are not one-time occurrences; This has happened at least 15 times since the system was installed in early September. When I call Customer Service, I get a different technician each time and each time they go through the same procedures, they will not let me talk to a supervisor. I try and cooperate doing as I'm told regarding "settings" and "location" and each time it works ----- until it fails. HELP!

You likely don’t have a static IP address and this is the reason for your issue. Your IP must remain consistently in the same location to continue receiving the same locals. If your specific ISP does not offer a static IP option, you are unfortunately out of luck. Directvhelp will be of little help.

Is your billing info / zip code on file with Dtv Stream correct? Did you used to live in KC or travel there?
