Direct Tv Stream on Roku Stick
The app times out after 4 hours of viewing and I don't see anywhere in the setup to stop this.
We have a dog that watches tv and if we are gone more than 4 hours the app stops working.
Anyway to fix this?

In your Roku settings, go to System>Power>Auto Power savings and uncheck "Turn off after 4 hours". This is the way it is on my Roku TV so I'm assuming the same for a stick.

I looked at my Roku power saving says 20 minutes. It was already unchecked.
Thanks for trying but isn't the issue.
I think I read that Direct TV stream has the 4 hour power save built in. I wonder if there is anyway to over ride this?

The setting to turn it off isn't anywhere in the Dtv Stream app settings? My Osprey box and Gemini air both have the ability to turn it off in settings.

Go into Roku settings-> Network-> Bandwidth Saver and turn off. This is the one that causes the 4 hour timeout. This is on the Roku, not in the DTV app.

Thanks for trying. I tried the bandwidth saver turned it off and tested it today but it didn't fix the problem.
It seems to be coming from DTV as it asks the question in the app are you still watching? If no answer it goes back to the main roku screen. So roku isn't timing out it is DTV.
Thank you!
