DirectTV Stream not working over a Projector
Our Company has a DirectTV Stream account. We are trying to user ClickShare to our Projector via a laptop to broadcast stations. We can view the stream fine on the laptop, but the stream does not play on the projector. On the projected sceen we can see the outline of the DirectTV webpage, mouse pointer, see other webpages and desktop of laptop, sound works, and other web videos play like YouTube, but the video is black over the projector. Why won't the video play over our ClickShare device to the projector? It is only the DirectTV video not playing
Thanks.

It must be some sort of copyright issue implemented to prevent screen sharing. In order to accomplish this to a Projector, you need an HDMI cable from the laptop directly to the Projector (this will bypass the Projector copyright issue).
Additionally, for long term use, you can purchase a streaming device for directv stream service. This can be a Fire Stick, Roku, or Apple TV (as well as the DIRECTV STREAM Osprey Box).
As a note, using DIRECTV STREAM in a business setting is against the rules. You would need to get directv satellite for your business to 'legally' show live content to other customers. If this is NOT what you are doing, then this rule does not apply.

Shortly after I created this post, I tried the HDMI cable and that indeed worked.
Thanks for your feedback!
