DirectTV Stream on the DirecTV Box Loses Audio Sync Every Time a Program Goes to Commercial

I am running the DirecTV Stream app from the box device that AT&T/DTV provided me. The whole service is looking like it's no longer viable because every time a program goes to a commercial, the audio falls out of sync from the picture. This can be resolved by turning the TV off and back on. Sometimes changing channels and then changing back to the intended channel fixes it, but not always.

What gives?

Which channel are you streaming? This might be an issue with that specific channel.

It's multiple channels. I haven't noticed any patterns. ESPN, CNN, Fox Business, CBS, HBO, whatever. It's been happening pretty frequently whenever commercials hit.

If you are using a Directv Streaming box try doing a red button reset by pressing the little red button on the side of your box until it reboots.  My box sometimes does this and doing a reset usually helps with this issue.  Hope this helps you.
