DirectTV Stream Resetting/Buffering only on Samsung TV's?
I have a Samsung TV that is less than 3 years old. When I use DirectTV Stream, the screen buffers and/or resets frequently.
Example: I start a recording, 10 minutes in the recording resets and takes me back to the beginning of the episode. This happens 3-4 times in an hour episode.
Or, I am watching live TV - the screen "reloads/buffers" and shows the title and the channel number as if I were changing channels and then goes back to the program I was watching. This also happens frequently.
Both the TV and the App are updated. This has not always happened until about the last 6 months. I have reset everything to factory settings and contacted both DirectTV and Samsung with no help. May have to cancel DirectTV stream if I can't get this resolved.
This is not an issue on my non samsung TV. So its either get several new TV's or switch TV providers... which would be cheaper than new TV's.

Are you using the Samsung DirecTV Stream App or a separate streaming device?
The Samsung App is notoriously buggy. You'll have a much better experience with a streaming device, like Roku, FireStick, Apple TV, DirecTV Stream device, etc.
