DirectTV Stream using ANY Roku devices - no longer getting local stations

at 5 pm yesterday we got local stations on our tvs.  Different Rokus on 3 different tvs.  By 9 pm - no longer getting ANY local stations on any tv.  Have discussed at length with DirectTV Stream - "it's a Roku issue".  Have spent HOURS discussing with Roku - "it's a DirectTV Stream app issue" - go back to DirectTV Stream.  I CAN get the local stations using my ipad.  Issue seems directly related to Roku (not the DirectTV Stream app)

We know going back and forth trying to find a solution for your missing local channels is a difficult situation, so we would like to help you find the root cause of it. Please send us a PM with a screenshot of the error message you are getting to check your Roku device settings and help you out. Saula, DIRECTV Community Specialist

There is NO error message or code.

The local channels are just not there - not in the guide and can't access.

Lowest channel we get is 202.

Also - how to send a PM?

This appears to be an issue with the Directv app - I cannot view my local stations on tvs (using Roku devices - 3 different ones) NOR on my laptops.  All of them stream via Directv app - all do NOT work.

Directv app for Apple products (iphone & ipad) work just fine.

So who do I contact for an issue with the Directv app for non-apple products?

Have you restarted your router and modem?

if you do a search, do you find them? Has anything changed on your side? Moved or updates?

Nothing changed from my end. Had local channels at 6 pm for local news and weather.  Watched a couple of shows that were recorded then went back to the guide for a show on local channel. Local channels no longer show on the guide and not accessible on TVs or laptop. Interestingly - they are available on my iPad and iPhone. Didn’t affect that OS. Everything is updated and has been removed, reinstalled etc. problem is with the app for Windows OS. Using 3 different Rokus on 3 different TVs - even tried OS on a TV that has a web browser. Still an issue.

Try going into settings in the Directv Stream App and see if your device is set to Home Network.  Sometimes this happens to my Roku and it removes my device from the Home Network don't know why it does this.  If when you go into settings and it does say your device is set to home then try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Try setting your iPhone up as a hot spot and connecting 1 device to it to see if the locals appear. Just for a test of a different network.

You mean disconnect from home wifi and use IPhone as the hotspot for the tv/Roku?Hadn’t tried that one. I’ll try and let you know.  Thanks!

Okay - so using my iPhone as a hotspot brings back my local pee the “guide” but signal isn’t strong enough to actually load or stream anything. Also - guide” says “no information available” where it should show what program is playing or will be playing   Also - when selecting the “local” channel - nothing will stream.
grear idea but only solves a little of my problem. Other ideas?

That tells me the issue is with your ISP. Appears maybe you had an IP change to a location that does not support your locals. That is what we needed to see. Might want to contact your ISP.

Guess what - access to local channels (show up in guide and I can stream everything)!!  System is reset. Not sure what happened but thank you for all your suggestions.
