Directv Gemini Air constantly losing network connection

I have a tv with a Gemini Air device and a Fire TV stick connected. The Gemini Air device is constantly losing network connection... comes back eventually. I installed the DirecTV app on the Fire TV stick and there are no network connectivity issues when using the app on the Fire TV stick.

I visited the link & went through all the steps... issue still exists. Gemini Air device continues to buffer and disconnect from the network. The DirecTV app on the Fire stick on the other hand does not lose it's connection. This has something to do with the Gemini Air device.

Go into settings and find your Wi-Fi connection and make it static by assigning an IP number to it from your router. Try that it's worked for some people
