Directv steam changing channels on its own
We have been having problems the last couple months with the box changing the channel on its own. It started doing it every night at 8:20pm. It would be on a show and then change to Prime or Netflix. I called and they don’t know what it is. They had us reboot and all that.
Finally they sent us a new box. It worked for a few days but today it changed the channel to Netflix at 2:17pm. I don’t know if it’s in the box or some kind of setting somewhere. I don’t understand why it’s happening with two different boxes. And why is it at the same time of day?
I also don’t understand why when you call they can’t help or they don’t know what is going on. I don’t think I’m the only one this is happening to.
Is there anyone there may have insight into this?

We've seen a few other posts here about this issue. I seem to recall it has something to do with a Google account setting? Try searching this forum for those posts.
