DirecTV stream freezes during playback

I have a problem that happens sporadically but is happening more often while watching Directv Stream on a Roku Ultra decvice.  When watching a recorded show from "My Library", suddenly, the video and sound freeze.  It just stops, as if I hit the pause button,  but I haven't touched the remote.  The only solution I have found is to restart the show from the beginning and attempt to fast forward to the point where the playback stopped.   This is extremely frustrating.   I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Directv stream app on my Roku.  I have rebooted the Roku.   I have unplugged and replugged in the Roku after waiting 4-5 minutes.  Nothing seems to resolve this problem.  This can sometimes happend after a few minutes and sometimes longer.

Hello there. Having issues while streaming your recorded shows differ from the experience DIRECTV wants to provide. Please follow this link https://www.directv.com/support/article/000093615  where you can find different options to troubleshoot the issue you're having with the audio and video. However, I will send you a PM to further assist you in this situation. Danna, DIRECTV Community Specialist.

I have followed all of the trouble shooting steps on that webpage.   The problem still happens.  However it is sporadic.   Sometimes it happens after a few minutes, sometimes after 2 or more hours.

Which Roku OS do you have? They have been releasing OS 12 lately. Eventually, your Roku will need to get the latest version - you can try that (make sure you're in the latest version). Some other Roku users (not many) have reported audio issues and they might come from the Roku OS side of the house.

The best thing to do next is to engage on a DM with the reps here and provide your account so the engineering dept can take a deeper look. If you have Roku OS 12 then this DVR freezing thing might come from the OS 12 version OR from the latest Roku DTV app version. TBH the only problems right now that I've seen on Roku are mostly audio issues (which are not happening a lot).
