DIRECTV Stream Google Assistant Not Listening

Ever since AT&T TV switched to DIRECTV Stream, I've had nothing but problems with Google Assistant. I pressed the Google Assistant button, Google Assistant turns on, but it doesn't hear me. The blue light flashed quickly on my remote before I could get a chance to speak. I'm running ethernet cable, tried resigning into Google, and have Google Assistant turned on.
