DirecTV Stream Issue

Two different TVs in my house, which say they both are at the same home location (confirmed the IP Addresses) are showing different local channels. 

The one on my AppleTV updated to my new local channels when I moved. The one on my Samsung smart tv is still showing the old channels. I just did a reset of that tv, and it didn’t change anything.

The Apple TV has location services and knows where you are located, whereas the Samsung Smart TV does not have location services. When you say old channels, have you moved lately? Are you now in a different location then your billing info?

Have you gone to Settings/Preferences/Location Settings/Set New Home Location, in the Samsung DirecTV Stream app, and set a new location, to see if that corrects it?

UPDATE - I chatted with DirecTV customer support, and they went in and changed my shipping address (billing address was already updated). Now the AppleTV is working, but the smart TV still is not. I have tried “set my home location” already, which didn’t help. It matches the AppleTV. I have already reset the tv to default and reinstalled the app, which also didn’t help. 

Not sure where to go from here…

Smart TV? Is it a Samsung? There are many issues with the Samsung Smart TV app. The app has always been inferior and reported numerous times within the forum. Most have opted to use external streaming devices.

Yes, it is a Samsung Smart TV. I just don't have a lot of desire to buy a new piece of equipment. I only use this TV for watching the local news in the morning as I'm getting ready, so I'm not really looking to invest more in it. I did have an antenna to pick up the broadcast feeds, but in my new home no signal comes in.
