DirecTV stream restart show feature keeps restarting show after first commercial and can't watch from restart

I recently got DirecTV stream and cancelled cable and I have the app on a Chromecast streamer with Google tv 4k device connected to my tv, I have it on a Chromecast 4k device connected to a tv, and directly on a Samsung tv, and app installed on my phone. I tested on all and on my phone and my 2 Chromecast devices I can't get a show to play fully using the restart feature. I've tried restarting a show on USA, Paramount TV channel and VH1. They all play to the first commercial and then at some point in the commercials it will restart the show, and it continues doing it and can never watch the show. My Samsung tv did play a USA show using the restart feature when testing earlier and that's a tv I don't use (go figure). My phone won't play shows from restart feature and my 2 Chromecast devices won't play from restart ( they'll play until the first commercial break and then before the show comes back from commercial it restarts the show and it will play again to that same point at the commercial and restart the show again and just continue to do that.) My 2 Chromecast devices DirecTV stream app versions are 5.0.68.2002090379, my phone app is version 5.0.68.2002090162 and my Samsung tv DirecTV stream app version is 3.37.41500. like I said the Samsung tv that I don't use did play fine from restart for a USA show earlier, but I don't use that tv because it's on the other end of my home. All the apps are the latest version and all devices are updated. Any hope you'll send a app update to fix this issue.
