Directv Stream/Roku remote down arrow no longer triggers guide
Pressing DOWN on the roku remote use to bring up the guide. However that stopped working as of this morning. Directv App Build 3750102 Version 3.34.
Now to get to the guide you have to hit the Back button, then select guide (multiple button presses).

I used to turn on my Roku TV/Roku Stick, select DIrectTV stream and it automatically went to the last channel I was watching. Now I have to physically select the channel from the "whats on now" menu. Is this part of the recent update too?

@bilchman yes that's part of the new design.. to do anything now you have to go through that scene.

Remember when the ability to watch a program in one room, then seamlessly pick it up in another was a big thing? Sadly, that's no long the case. The second TV opens on the landing page, the program is in the first slot in continue watching, and you have to click on it to watch. Bummer.
In a business where clicks = user irritation, the changes made in the latest big update were not progress. They were regression.

At this rate, the next iteration of the app is going to require us to press UP - UP - DOWN - DOWN - LEFT - RIGHT - LEFT - RIGHT - B - A - START to get to the guide...

With every major user experience update, for Dtv Stream with Roku, it gets worse. Yesterday I helped cancel my elderly friends Dtv Stream subscription - because she just couldn't find the guide easily anymore. She likes YouTube, so I helped her subscribe to that. One lost subscriber due to the Dtv streaming guide jumbled mess.
I've kept it so far despite frustration and, as noted above, if you use the down arrow, then press the up arrow, to the new "guide" button, and press that you get the guide. Still an extra step than originally, but a couple less than yesterday.
I see a lot of Fubo and Hulu advertising, but nothing anymore from Dtv Stream. They might not be long in this genre of streaming, especially when they make it difficult for users to get the most basic of needs.

I've been watching other streaming services since the Roku DTV app update and have found cheaper ways to watch most of the channels I watched on DTV. It seems businesses only pay attention when complaints affect $, so bye-bye, DTV.

@bcbsncjlj Lets try and be civil shall we? No need to be nasty. While you don't think this is a big issue, it most definitely is a big issue for older patrons of the service.

Great work DTV! :) lol....
Hilarious how this is still an issue (SMH)..... ATT/DTV support is worthless. And the bill just went up $10. FIX THIS ISSUE ON APPLE TV!!! (you can't press the down arrow when watching a channel and get the "info or more info" drop down when using IR or even a Control 4 remote thru your automation system. You MUST swipe down with the apple remote..... this is bad programming!
