DVR will not FF or will not stop FF
I'm using the most updated version of the stream app on my Roku smart tv. The DVR has recently been having an issue where it will not let me fast forward (FF) or if it does let me FF, it will then not let me play the recording again (i.e. it will be stuck on FF). It's not a remote issue, the remote works just fine and we use the tv for other services with no issues. Sometimes the recording allow all functions as normal anf sometimes they don't. I've tried restarting the tv and the app. I've tried reinstalling the app. I've deleted a bunch of recordings. I've cleared the cache. Nothing works. This is extremely aggravating as I primarily use this service for sports. I have a full time job and two young boys so watching games on DVR is critical. Without a functional DVR I will not continue my subscription. I need to be able to skip commercials because I normally start watching games around 8:30. Skipping commercials allows me to go to bed at a reasonable time. Please tell me there's a solution or I'm going to have to cancel.

Hi @Viscily_II, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
As you have tried a troubleshooting previously, let's try to restore your receivers to factory settings, you can find the steps in the following link:https://direc.tv/3PAyuHV. Give it a try and in case that doesn't work, please meet us in a private message, so we can take a closer look into this by our end.
We will be attentive to your response.

@DIRECTVhelp You gave instructions for resetting a Genie DirecTV satellite receiver. If you actually read the post, the OP has the DirecTV Stream app and even posted in the DirecTV Stream forum - not the DirecTV satellite forum.

Happening to me too. Started Dec 16, 2022. The only way to get the DirecTV Stream app to respond to inputs from my roku remote is to exit the app, reset the app and start the recording over. Works normally for a minute or two, then stops responding to the remote again. Every other app on the Roku works normally. I've tried resetting the DirecTV app, uninstalling and reinstalling, and resetting the Roku. Both the Roku and DirecTV Stream app are up to date. This is really a problem, considering the ONE THING I want to do is watch Altitude on my DirecTV Stream DVR. Ugh!
