DVR working too well...

I'm sorry to see that people are having problems with DirecTV Stream's DVRs working for them but mine has started working too well.

It was a pain awhile back when we could only keep 30 or so episodes of any show.  When we were trying to watch Law & Order there were 3 channels which were broadcasting those episodes and so episodes we wanted to watch would get bumped off by the more recent episodes from other channels.

I'm kind of looking back on that as the good old days now, though.  The limits were apparently removed.  We currently record Shark Tank.  The last time I looked at it we had 201 episodes of it.  Have you ever tried to scroll down 200 episodes to see some of the episodes at the bottom of the list?

Unlimited episodes isn't a bad thing by itself but we need different ways to sort those episodes.  Currently they're by season and by episode within a season with the oldest seasons at the bottom.  How about giving us a way to reverse that order so that the oldest episodes are at the top?  Or how about just letting us watch the episodes in the order that the DVR recorded them (or its reverse)?

I never thought that I'd cancel a service just because the DVR kept too many episodes, but I'm starting to feel that way.

Can't you delete once you're done?

gguenth - for Shark Tank set that to record “new” episodes and the old ones will stop downloading to your recordings.
