Error Code 30002-015

I have recorded a few shows on my DVR, but when I go to watch them, I get the error message "The owner of this content has not made it available to stream in this area." The code is 30002-015. I am not trying to stream, but just watch something recorded. Both shows this has happened with are local network channels. What's the point of recording something if I can't watch it later?

That's a blackout message your local channel(s) aren't allowing it to be "streamed" as opposed to traditional viewing DirecTV stream IS streaming

You are streaming it though you're using the virtual dvr on DirecTV STREAM correct? anything you're watching via an internet connection is streaming

Does not matter. If you are out of your home based area, you can not watch a local network content (live or recorded). This is not a DirecTV Stream restriction, but a local network restriction.

Hello @c29prc, we are here to clarify this to you.

Watching recorded programming from the DVR is considered streaming, this is one of the reason as to why you receive the error code 30002-015, this also happens due to your location. The owner of this program does not allow it to be streamed at the area you are currently in.

If you have any more doubts, let us know.

I've been having problems with channel 696 when the Giants are on for a couple days now.  Received online support and she said she reset my account settings and it worked for a while.  The screen cracks up then goes black and it won't stream from my internet and I get a code 015 stating it's blacked out in my area.  I live in Placer Co. California, and I'm a Giants fan.  If it's a problem with the Bay Area sports network then what do I do.  I'm paying for the NBC sports network package.

DirecTV or DirecTV Stream? What streaming devices are you using?

I have DirecTV with Satellite.  If the Satellite loses signal it automatically streams through my internet.  However, channel 696 Giants games keeps cracking up and loses satellite signal and won't stream through my internet it just blacks out and I get an error code 015.  All my other channels automatically stream through my internet. when I lose the satellite signal.  Why doesn't Channel 696 bay area sports network?

You need to post in the DirecTV forum. This forum is for the DirecTV Stream service not Satellite (DirecTV).
