Error message when trying to watch recent DirecTV Stream recordings

I was a lifelong Comcast (Xfinity) cable TV subscriber until this week when I switched to DirecTV Stream after Xfinity dropped the Bally Sports regional networks. I am still in my 5 day free trial of DirecTV Stream and the first 3 days were great until I ran into a problem with recordings.

When I try to watch recent recordings, I get these error messages:

"Sorry, There’s a Problem Seems to be an issue here. Please try again later."

"We're having trouble displaying this content. Please check back later. 30003-006"

Examples of recordings that will not play:

1. The Masked Singer
S11 E13  |  Finale: One Mask Takes It All
First Aired: 5/22/2024  ・  TVPG  ・  1h 3m
Music, Competition reality  ・  FOX

2. Survivor
S46 E13  |  Friends Going to War
First Aired: 5/22/2024  ・  TVPG  ・  3h 1m
Action, Adventure  ・  CBS

I have tried playing the above recordings on the following devices but receive an error message on each:

1. DirecTV Stream app via Roku Ultra on Samsung TV
> I tried the following troubleshooting tips but nothing worked:
- Closed and restarted DirecTV Stream app
- Checked for updates for DirecTV Stream app
- Deleted and reinstalled DirecTV Stream app

2. DirecTV Stream "Watch Now" via Chrome browser here: https://stream.directv.com/watchnow

3. DirecTV Stream iOS mobile app via iPhone 15 Pro Max
> On the mobile app, I receive the same error message but also with code 30003-006

The "30003-006" error code doesn't seem to turn up anything online.

I can watch other recordings from premium ("add-on") channels like HBO so could this issue just be related to shows recorded on network channels like FOX and CBS?

I spent quite a bit of time chatting with DirecTV support and also sent a DM to DirecTV help via X but was just told this was an "outage" that the team is working to resolve. It's been about 12 hours but the problem persists.

I have two questions:

1. Any suggestions for watching these specific recordings?

2. Are these error messages (or "outages") when trying to watch recordings common?

Xfinity definitely had its faults but I never had an issue that completely blocked me from watching a recording.

Hi Jason, thanks for the comment but I already contacted DirecTV support twice with 2 different representatives but got nowhere. Seems pointless to try again. I just thought I would post here too to see if anyone in the community had any tips or tricks.

I can live without access to a couple of recordings. Not a big deal. But as a completely new DirecTV Stream customer, I more interested in hearing from the community if these type of recording playback issues or "outages" are common with this service.
