Every time we turn on a TV in the house, it takes us to the channel that the kids may be watching or watched last on their other TVs

Every time we turn on a TV in the house, it takes us to the channel that the kids may be watching or watched last on their other TVs. Set up Daughter's TV and we watch Nick Jr. Then Set up TV in guest room and automatically turn on Nick Jr. Then we switched to Food Network. Then set up Son's TV and automatically show Food Network when we turned on his TV. We changed his channel to Disney. Then set up living room TV last and when we turned on, the channel that came up was Disney! Is there a way to stop this? We would like each TV to be separate and not show what others were watching.

Also, Is there a way to select what channel we want Direct TV stream starts on? With Spectrum we choose to always start and turn on channel 13 and it didn't matter what other TVs where showing, each TV was treated separate. Sorry we just got ATT today and still trying to figure it out. Thanks!

Sorry, there is nothing that can be done yet hopefully they will change this feature it can be frustrating to have to constantly change the channel I would love to be able to turn on my TV and it be on the same channel that I left it on when I turned it off, especially when you have a number of different people watching different stuff in your house and you don't want to watch it.  I know some people think that it is petty for something so trivial because you can just change the channel but when you are trying to turn the tv on for a young child and the tv turns on something that is not suitable for a small child then it can become an issue when you have many age groups living with you. But I am still holding out hope that they will make improvements and add profiles!  And as a new customer don't be afraid to come to the forum and ask questions sometimes it is the best way to find out information and get helpful fixes.  I hope this helps you.

This is an actual complaint? That you have to change the channel when you turn your tv on? Wow.

No, it is not a complaint. We are looking for help and suggestions from people on the subject since we are new to this service with ATT. We just had it since 1 day ago. We have had spectrum for many many years and that is all we know. We appreciate any kind person that can share their 2 cents on explaining to us how this works. Thanks!!!
