Exceeding logon attempts on first try
For the last several days, my multiple Roku TVs and Apple devices are logging me out (sometimes within less than 24 hours). The initial screen states I’ve exceeded the maximum number of attempts and I haven’t even made one attempt at logging on. This problem used to exist about 6 months ago and was attributed to the AT&T authentication servers. I have to go through the routine of changing my password which also requires me to revalidate my credentials for my email access.

Were you a previous DIRECTV satellite subscriber? And did you use the same email address to sign up for DIRECTV STREAM? This could be the reason for your troubles.

Thanks for the confirmation. Please call DIRECTV STREAM (number in my greeting below) and say ‘sign-in help’ to the robot. This should send you to the right department in order to resolve your issue.
