Fast Forward saved shows or Live TV on Roku Ultra box

I just migrated from Comcast Xfinity to DirecTV Streaming on a Roku Ultra box. One item that I am having issue with is when using the fast forward feature. While watching a recording or after pausing a live TV show, when you use the fast forward and then hit play after a commercial, etc., it doesn't start there. It starts the program like 10 seconds later, so you miss what has happened. It is extremely frustrating. I have to then rewind some to get to the right spot.

When previously using Comcast Xfinity, the fast forward function would back up a number of seconds when you pressed the start playing key. 

Is there a setting to address this issue or is DIRECTV Streaming working to change how this works? Maybe provide a setting to allow the customer to select how many seconds to auto backup when you press the Play button after fast forwarding?
