Fast forward when watching a recorded show is a problem
I have watched a couple of shows recorded in DIRECTV and a small box appeared above the progress bar showing a picture of where you were in the recording. I did the same thing last night and the box was no longer there. What happened? Without the box with the picture, fast forwarding is pure guesswork?

Had it happen a few times, to my DirecTV Stream box. I restarted to bex and it was OK after that.

Mine was on the Firestick. Worked fine one day, did not work the next day.

Did u uninstall/reinstall the app or try to restart your firestick?

I did not. Works great on the Stream device. I will try to do each of the things you recommend.
